Kiwifruit Smoothie

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice-cream or frozen yoghurt
  • 1 ripe banana, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh mint
  • 2 kiwifruit, peeled and finely diced


Method:

Blend the milk, ice-cream, banana and mint together in a blender until smooth.
Add the Kiwifruit, blend briefly.
Pour into glasses.
Serve immediately.

Storage tip:

For maximum storage life, store kiwifruit alone. Fruits such as apples and bananas produce ethylene gas that can hasten ripening of other fruit Storage tip: Ripe kiwifruit can be stored in the fridge for up to seven days.
